One area that makes the YMCA different than other "Clubs" is that we provide scholarships to those that cannot afford membership or programs. 

• $2500 provides a scholarship for one child, including a membership, summer camp and before/after-school care during the school year.
• $1600 provides a child with after-school care for a year
• $1000 will send four high school students to the YMCA Youth & Government program in Raleigh
• $912 makes it possible for an entire family to be members for a year
• $570 sends a child to resident camp for one week
• $360 provides a senior membership for a year
• $250 supports one teen in the Hispanic Achievers Mentoring program
• $125 provides one week of summer day camp for a youth or teen
• $75 will purchase instructional materials that enable adults to improve their reading and English communication skills
• $40 provides one session of swim lessons for a child or adult
