In Youth & Government, High School students can experience the legislative process by becoming a student delegate with the opportunity to write their own bills and travel to Raleigh to participate in a "mock legislature" that includes debate in committee settings and House and Senate chambers. West Forsyth Family YMCA currently has Youth & Government clubs at Reagan, West Forsyth, and Forsyth Country Day Schools. The Youth Legislature Conference will be held in Raleigh February 12-15, 2009.
